My nails are confetti. It reminds me of bonbons. Did you have those? They were 88cent mini nail polish bottles, usually in sparkly colors. There was also roll on body glitter... but don't worry I don't wear that anymore.
I occasionally wore body glitter, but not in public. I was a modest child who had self-imposed wardrobe rules, which included: nude nail polish, necklines that did not go below my colar bone, and a min of 1 inch tank top straps.
