Journalism

This would be funnier if you knew my school better but you get the drift.

If you've ever walked by 27th street along 7th avenue then you've probably been hit by a number of things that made you turn your head. Amidst the smoke cloud wafting around the "DO NOT SMOKE ON CAMPUS" signs you probably saw hipster-clad, angsty, young people sitting on the steps of a somewhat drab building. Past the once occupied stores and cafes adjacent to the C building you may have seen newly installed cafe tables and bike racks. If you dared to venture closer to eighth avenue you probably saw vintage clothes, jewelry, and fur vendors selling their product at a temporary street fair. Besides the Barnes&Noble, on campus Starbucks, and Style Shop that sells merch from students designers (if you can get in the door) you may have felt an over all "vibe" from this campus. What it lacks in color it makes up for in atmosphere. The FIT campus carries all of the heart, spirit, and whim experienced as a teenager pursuing their lifelong dream and that same inspiration lives on 27th street. Once you get past the teen angst and Lady Gaga get up, anyway.

Where is this from? Are you doing promotions for FIT now? I have wandered around the bookstore on that campus... was an educational experience.
