Occasionally my brother texts me to tell me of awesome 'new' artists that he's just discovered. It's quite sweet of him, but usually I have to text him to say "yeah... I've heard of Regina Spektor" or "There's no way The Beatles just won "Best New Artist of 2010".
But when he texted me last night about Laura Jansen, I had no such comment.
